Missional Community Leader Interest Meeting

Since February, over 150 people from Grace have been going through the Verge Discipleship Blueprint training, getting equipped with the skills and vision to live as disciplemaking disciples in their everyday lives.

We want to see this movement continue at Grace, and one of the best ways to continue growing as a disciple and in making disciples is to do it in community with others. When you have other men and women who are striving after the same goal, you don’t feel alone. You have help. You have encouragement.

That’s why we hope to launch 15-20 Missional Communities this Fall. A Missional Community is “a family of missionary servants who make disciples who make disciples.” Existing community groups will be making some shifts to become Missional Communities as well.

To do this, we need leaders, men and women called by God to help people at our church grow as disciplemaking disciples. We will spend the summer training you and equipping you, and we will give you ongoing support as you lead. Leaders of existing Community Groups will go through the training as well.

If you are interested in learning more about the commitment of being a MC Leader, or if you are an existing CG leader, please plan on coming to ONE of our MC Leader Interest Meetings to hear about the vision for these groups and the plan for training.

And please pray for our church, that God would raise up these communities in His timing for His glory in our city.

Grace Community Church

A love for Jesus Christ and an ardent desire to see Him glorified in the inner city of Greensboro were the impetus for the founding of this non-denominational body of believers. We are striving to bring together God’s people from all walks of life that each might minister to the other according to their gifts and abilities. Our highest aim is that we might together demonstrate the reality of Christ as we are made one.
